Ron Brown to Speak @ Crossfest!

CrossBridge is pleased to announce that Ron Brown

will be kicking off Crossfest '09!

Ron Brown is the tight end coach for the Huskers and is one of the co-founders of the Christian organization called "Mission Nebraska." Ron's enthusiasm for the Lord is contagious, his Christian leadership is honorable, and we are privileged to join him as one of God's Assistant Coaches!

We are so blessed to have Ron on board for Crossfest and look forward to having him help us get pumped up to celebrate God's goodness and faithfulness and to give God all the glory!

Ron will take the stage from 5:30 until 6 on August 29th. You don't want to miss it!

Things Are Rolling!!!

A quick update for those who have not been able to join us for the last couple of meetings or for those looking for the inside scoop on what God is up to regarding Crossfest '09...

*Inflatables are officially reserved - obstacle course, dual slide, and dunk tank!

*more and more food & supply donations are coming in from amazing sponsors like HyVee, Applebees, Walmart, Grisanti's, Cici's, and many more...

*we are officially supporting the "Backpacks for Hope" program through the Center for People in Need by collecting canned and nonperishible foods at the Hub the night of Crossfest

*there will be a Crossfest ad/informational flier going out to 60,000 homes on the 6th of August, thanks to Valpak!!!

*the Crossfest Prayer Calendar will begin on August 1st as we join together in praying for the huge ways God will work in people's lives in and through Crossfest '09...check back on the blog after Sunday July 26th when we will have it posted for you to join the prayer team as we pray up to Crossfest!

*Several hundred t-shirts have been sold - great job t-shirt team, they look awesome! It is not too late to order yours! See Holly, Jackie, or Dean... They will also be available to purchase the night of Crossfest.

*many, many more things are in the works, so join us Sunday evenings in August @ 6:30 as we continue to report on all that God is doing

Team Planning/Dreaming Time: Break out into teams, each lead by team leader(s), where the nuts and bolts details continue to be worked out

Prayer Time: What or who has God put on your heart that we need to be praying for? Someone you hope to invite? A wild dream that God has inspired you with? A passion to be sparked to get to know Him more intimately through this process? Let's pray daring and bold prayers together...
